Our Team
Andrew Bourgoin, CEO | Lead Producer
Andrew founded Bourgoin Productions with a simple hope: to help folks in live entertainment get ahead and stay organized. “It doesn’t have to be stressful!”, he says. His experience as a church musician, St. Olaf College graduate, office assistant, teacher, regional music director, multiple certification holder, event coordinator, and Broadway conductor have given him the foundation to produce and direct big live events and theatrical productions.
As a French Canadian kid being raised in Arkansas, Andrew spent his time playing the piano, riding his bike, pretending to be an evening news anchor, and offering to help his teachers organize their desks. He added band and choir to his middle/high school resume - and decided he would naturally get a degree in music, choosing St. Olaf College.
St. Olaf College is pivotal in Andrew’s story - because - many of his professors and contemporaries continue to be resources in the big wide world of show-business. Andrew credits the liberal arts education, his natural curiosity and fervor, and the best colleagues in the world for his comfortability and joy in the process of assembling even the most complicated live events and theatrical puzzles.

Nicholas Shaneyfelt, Tech | Data Manager
Nicholas has two passions: music and technology. After meeting Andrew in (gulp) 2012, they stayed connected via social media and mutual friends. They reconnected when Andrew was seeking “someone to create forms and manage back-end data”. Enter Mister Nicholas.
Outside of his work as a freelance Google Administrator and registration platform wizard, Nicholas is Associate Professor of Music in Collaborative Piano at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, where he coaches singers, provides musical direction for the opera program, and collaborates in recitals regularly with faculty and students. He completed doctoral studies in the Collaborative Piano studio of Martin Katz at the University of Michigan. Prior to Michigan, he served as Staff Accompanist for the Department of Music and Dance at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. Shaneyfelt tours frequently with the Piatigorsky Foundation, an organization that aims to bring live classical music to underserved regions of the country.
